Happy Thanksgiving!!

I think that Thanksgiving is a wonderful day that families gather together. Personally I like to watch football. But as the day is celebrated by millions I hope that we don't forget what it is really all about. It is not about eating until we can not eat anymore, or getting drunk and fighting with family members we have not talked to all year, Thanksgiving is about the hospitality of the Indians who allowed us to share this land that we eventually stole from them. Yes I said it! Stole !!!! I am not trying to preach but we should all be thankful that those people did not have the selfishness that we have toward each other now.

I found that when you stand up for what you believe you get a sense of self and realize your self love. I was put in a situation that tested my own self trust. I was told by a good friend a quote that was something like this, " When the voice on the inside is louder than the voices on the outside you have mastered you life."
I am not sure if that is totally true because crazy people only hear the voices inside their own head but I think I underdstand what he was saying. You have to trust your own feelings. If anyone reads this that has been hurt or violated please stand up for yourself even if that means going to a higher power.
